Voice recording is an optional feature for EVOX customers. If your company has subscribed this feature, you can record phone calls for those extensions that are enabled for this function. You can review and manage your Recording services on the Recording page, which shows:
- The total storage allowed and used
- The maximum number of extensions allowed and used
- The company default settings for all extensions.
You cannot change the maximum storage or number of extensions allowed except by contacting EVOX support to change your subscription. You can, however, view and change the company default settings for Recording trigger and Call direction on this page. You can also change the settings for individual extensions on theUsers page.
To add a new Recording extension, clickShow Recording Management to expand the complete card, and then clickAdd recording extensions at the bottom of the card.
Then select the User you wish to add. Please keep in mind you cannot add or enable more recording extensions than is allowed with your subscription. You will see an error message You have reached the package limit when you've reach our allowable limit.
During the first time setup, if you haven't already set up the Users, you won't be able to add or enable recording extensions. A warning will show up below the Recording section to remind you to complete the Users setting first.
To Remove an extension click on (more) but- ton and select Delete recording extension.
User Recording settings:
For those Users enabled for Recording, their settings will default to the company settings.
They can be customized here individually, and the settings here will override the company settings.
For those who haven't been enabled for Recording, you will need to go to the System page to manage their recording functions.
Search and Filter CDR
To search call records, type in keywords such as User name, Group name, extension number, or regular phone number in the search box. An example of a search is presented in the below image.
To optimize usage of your recording storage, you may want to download the recording files to your computer for archival and clean up your cloud storage from time to time.
You can download a single recording file by clicking on Downloadin the dialog box. Click on Delete to delete a single record- ing file. A confirmation dialog will pop up to confirm your action.
When you choose to delete the recording, a warning message will pop up, please confirm again.
You can also delete multiple recordings at a time by selecting those recordings and click on the Actions button then Delete recordings from the drop-down menu.
