First time setup
Sign in to the EVOX Admin site by entering the email address and password provided to you by EVOX sales or support. If you wish to remain logged into the Admin site on your computer, please check the Remember me box. Do not select this option when you are not using your personal computer or if your computer is not secured from unauthorized users.
Forgot your password?
Don't worry if you forgot your password. Just click Forgot your password? We will send an email to your compa- ny's admin email address to safely reset your password.
After you receive notice that an email has been success- fully sent, please check your email and follow the instruction to reset your password.
Remember your password needs to be at least 6 characters long. Also, we recommend you to use a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters to form a stronger password.
To sign out of the admin site, click on Sign out in the header drop-down menu. We recommend you always sign out after you are done using the admin site to protect your company information when you are browsing on a public computer or when you leave your personal computer.
First time setup
Once you are signed in to the Admin site, you will be on the Admin home page (System page). If you need help with setting up EVOX, contact support by selecting EVOX Support in the drop-down menu in the header bar.
Here is a step by step guide to setting up your new EVOX system:
1.Check your Account Profile to verify your Company Info and Admin Info. Contact EVOX Support if you find any errors.
2.Check your EVOX services, including your Basic Services, and additional services such as Direct Dial Lines and Recording function. Make sure that they are correct. If not, immediately contact EVOX Support.
3.Check your Devices, including Adapter Boxes and IP Phones, that are registered to your account. Make sure that they are correct. If not, immediately contact EVOX Support.
4.Review Company Settings and edit as required. These include Language, Time Zone, Office Hours, User Default Greeting and Group Ring Default Setting as required.
5.Add Users to your account by selecting the Users tab in the header bar.
6.Select the Auto-attendant tab in the header bar to set up your Auto-attendant.
Now your EVOX system is ready to go live, unless you have subscribed to additional services like Direct Dial Lines and Recording.
7.Return to the System page by clicking on the System tab in the header bar and finish your EVOX system setup:
- a. If you have Direct Dial Lines, assign those to the intended User/extension.
- b. If you have call Recording service, check the settings and and update them as required.
8.Go back to the Users section and customize individual User settings for Company Out bound Call Permissions and Recording as required.
Congratulations! You have completed your set up of EVOX system.
You can always customize and update all your settings by going back to the corresponding pages any time. If you make changes to your EVOX services subscription or hardware devices or your Users (extensions), such as adding more extensions, a Direct Dial line or an IP phone, removing or adding a User, you can go back to those pages to manage them.
